Madejski: No rush for Royals

Madejski says the mood is "sombre" at the club following Rodgers' exit earlier in the week but insists the Royals are in safe hands under the staff that have been placed in temporary control of first-team affairs. "We've appointed Brian McDermott to take over the first team and we've got Nick Hammond as director of football," he told BBC Berkshire. "We have a wealth of staff here. We're not going to make any rash decisions about anything."
