Long can`t wait to see net ripple
Reading striker Shane Long hopes his difficult spell in front of goal is nearing an end.
The Irishman, who has not scored for a month, was only denied by the width of the woodwork in Saturday`s 0-0 draw with Coventry.
"It was a very frustrating afternoon," Long told the club's official website. "In fact `frustrating' is a very tame word to use.
"I don't know why it's not going in at the moment.
"I feel like I'm playing well - but it just won't hit the net.
"We're playing well as a team, we're keeping clean sheets. It's up to us to put the ball in the net at the other end."
