Lita ready to leave Royals

Reading striker Leroy Lita claims he is ready to quit the club if he continues to be overlooked by manager Steve Coppell. The former England Under-21 international has started just four Premier League games this season and has revealed his frustration at a lack of first-team opportunities. Lita, who joined the Royals from Bristol City in 2005, has been linked with a move to Sunderland during the current transfer window. He scored 14 times in 41 appearances during a profitable last season. "I've already missed half of the season and I don't want that to continue," he said. "If I'm not going to get the opportunity here then I have to leave. "The gaffer doesn't think I'm good enough but I believe I can play in this team. "I just haven't had the chance to show what I can do and I've not been given the opportunity."
