Leigertwood backs Royals for promotion push
Midfielder Mikele Leigertwood has backed Reading to push on and become promotion contenders in the Championship.
The on-loan QPR man has yet to taste defeat in five games with Brian McDermott`s side and believes they have what it takes to make the top six.
He said: "I'm happy to be out there playing and being undefeated is a bonus.
"We always knew this period was going to be difficult. We would have liked six points from the two Christmas games but four is decent and we can push on into the New Year now.
"We have a very good squad and are in and amongst it now and when you are up there going into the New Year you never know what is going to happen."
