Leeds boss hopes to retain Sodje

The 29-year-old defender has played a key role in Leeds securing a play-off place since moving on loan in March and had his deal at Elland Road extended until the end of May on Thursday.[LNB]But Reading boss Steve Coppell inserted a 24-hour recall clause for the Nigerian and Grayson is crossing his fingers that he does not choose to activate it.[LNB]"We've exercised the the right to extend his loan," Grayson told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "The only thing Reading have now is a 24-hour recall, which most clubs do in a standard loan.[LNB]"We're hopeful that Reading don't have any injuries or suspensions while their season is going on, and I'm glad that they've allowed us to do this."[LNB][LNB]
