Khizanishvili missing for Reading

Reading will be without defender Zurab Khizanishvili for the visit of Ipswich.

The on-loan Blackburn man was sent off during the 3-0 win over Barnsley on Saturday for a second bookable offence and will serve a one-match ban. Alex Pearce will return in his place with the Royals looking for another home win.

Midfielder Brian Howard is also sidelined through suspension as he sits out the second of his three-game ban.

Jay Tabb's ankle injury rules him out, while the game is likely to come too soon for Andy Griffin and Julian Kelly as both continue to recover from hamstring injuries.

Ivar Ingimarsson could be fit enough to take his place on the bench and Chris Armstrong, who made his first start in a year on Saturday after recovering from a serious knee injury, could again play.
