Kebe: Royals will savour away day

The Royals travel to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in the midweek Championship programme. The recent form of Steve Coppell's side has prevented them from capitalising on similarly poor results by leading pair Wolves and Birmingham. A 1-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest at the weekend left the situation unchanged as both of their rivals also lost. The Royals, however, have two games in hand on the leading pair and Kebe insists with a little more luck they can significantly boost their automatic promotion chances. Kebe, who missed a glaring chance against Forest, told Reading's official website: "It's disappointing but we've put 110% in and you can't ask for more in terms of work rate from the boys. "Now we can make amends in the games coming up, I think we're better when the games are close together and it's not a week between every match we play. "We wanted to start this run of games with a win but we've got fixtures to catch up on it now. "Things are not falling for us on the pitch and there might be less pressure away from home."
