Karacan: We'll ignore takeover talk

Chairman Sir John Madejski denied reports on Monday that he was negotiating a £80million sale to a middle eastern consortium but is known to be looking to leave the club after 19 years in charge. Turkey Under-21 midfielder Karacan said: "I only speak a little bit of Turkish but I've been getting a bit of banter from the boys because they reckon I'll be getting a new deal! "But it's just speculation so we will see. We've read about it but nobody really knows. "Obviously there has been speculation over the last couple of years about Sir John and whether he is going to sell. But we're just concentrating on what happens on the pitch. "All the boys get on really well with the chairman. He is a lovely guy and he's very passionate. We see that before games when he comes into the dressing room. But we will see what happens."
