Reading midfielder Jem Karacan is grateful for the visit of Cardiff this week as the Royals look to return to winning ways. Brian McDermott's men went down at leaders QPR on Saturday and Karacan is confident of a better showing against the second-placed Bluebirds on Wednesday night. He said: "All the boys are looking forward to Cardiff now. "There are two games coming up quickly this week and we have to make amends for the QPR loss. "You always want to pick up points from the teams in and around you and we want a big performance."
