Jobi relishing reunion

Reading midfielder Jobi McAnuff is relishing the chance to come up against former boss Brendan Rodgers when they face Swansea on Saturday. Rodgers was appointed Royals boss in June 2009 but left after only 23 games in charge with the club languishing one place above the relegation zone. Rodgers is now manager at Swansea where he has made a good start to his rein with his team currently sitting eighth in the Championship table, and McAnuff, who was signed by Rodgers from Watford in August last year, says the ex-Watford chief will be anxious to put one over on his former club. He told the Reading Post: "He will be desperate to come and get a good result and it should be an entertaining game. It was unfortunate for Brendan, but it's part and parcel of the game and he's big enough to take it on the chin and get on with it. "Brendan's a top man and someone I always got on really well with during my spells at Watford and here. He's a really good guy and I wish him nothing but success, apart from on Saturday."
