Ingimarsson back for Royals

Reading captain Ivar Ingimarsson could make his first appearance at the Madejski Stadium since last March against Hull. The Icelandic centre-half made his long-awaited comeback from a serious hamstring injury at Doncaster last weekend and came through the full 90 minutes to put himself in contention for another start. Stand-in captain Matt Mills missed the clash with his former club last weekend with an unspecified leg injury and he is being monitored by manager Brian McDermott. Forward Noel Hunt and midfielder Jem Karacan both came off with knocks last week and are doubtful after missing training. Defender Sean Morrison is likely to be involved after completing his move from Swindon, but striker Brett Williams will not feature. Williams has signed on a permanent basis from Eastleigh this week but was working as a taxi driver until Monday, so is not yet match fit.
