Hunt still happy with Royals

Midfielder Stephen Hunt remains completely committed to Reading despite a transfer window move failing to materialise, according to his brother Noel.

The Republic of Ireland international was linked with a move to Everton before the transfer window closed.

Striker Noel joined the Royals - where his brother has been for the last four seasons - from Dundee United during the summer.

"He's very happy here," Noel told the club's official website.

"He puts it in and he works hard. If he wasn't happy then he wouldn't do any of that or be bothered. He's a credit to himself, he works hard and gets on with the boys.

"There was lots of speculation but it's over now and he knows it's over. He will get on and concentrate on playing for Reading for the next few months.

"There are ways of going about things, you can sit and sulk but I know him and there's no danger of that."
