Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt has labelled the next period as 'probably the most important three months in the club's history'.
The Royals have two games in hand on league leaders Wolves and, with four points separating the two teams, victories in those extra games would take Reading top of the Championship.
"We have games in hand but I would still rather have the points, because games in hand don't always help you," Hunt pointed out.
"At the end of the season someone will be disappointed. We're all expecting to go on good runs, but talk is cheap."
