Hunt in pole position

Noel Hunt is poised to keep his place when Reading host Norwich at the Madejski Stadium. Forward Hunt came into the side against Cardiff on Wednesday night, and despite being asked to play wide on the right, capped a bright performance with his first goal since August 2009. Manager Brian McDermott is likely to keep faith with the attacking line-up from midweek with Hunt wide of two strikers in Shane Long and Simon Church. The Royals are without winger Jimmy Kebe again due to the knee injury that has forced him to miss the last three games and Icelandic midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson, sidelined since mid-September with a hamstring injury, is still out. The Royals are just a point outside the play-offs and victory on Saturday could see them leapfrog the Canaries.
