Howard eager to correct home form
Middlesbrough won 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday to leave Brendan Rodgers' side winless in front of their own fans since the end of January.
Howard said: "We have to keep believing and keep working hard. It was so disappointing to get rolled over on your own patch like that.
"We are not getting anything in the box which is not good enough and we know that.
"We have two weeks now where a lot of the lads are going away with their countries but the lads who stay here are going to work hard and make sure we get it right."
