Former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie played the full 90 minutes for Reading's reserves as he looks to earn a contract at the Madejski Stadium. Hendrie is looking for a club and after training with Brian McDermott's side came through the 1-1 draw with Brighton unscathed. Club captain Ivar Ingimarsson scored on his latest comeback from a hamstring injury while left-back Chris Armstrong lasted an hour as he battles back from a serious knee injury. Coach Eamonn Dolan said: "Chris Armstrong was fantastic to come back after so long. The manager was also able to have a good look at Lee Hendrie and he showed a terrific attitude."
