Forest aim to fell cup heroes

The Royals produced one of the best results in their history on Wednesday when they beat the Reds 2-1 after extra-time at Anfield.[LNB]Forest had their own near miss against Premier League opposition 24 hours earlier, losing 1-0 to Birmingham in a third-round replay.[LNB]That brought to an end their 18-match unbeaten run but their league form has been terrific and victory on Saturday would take them four points clear of West Brom in the race for automatic promotion.[LNB]With the Baggies playing Championship leaders Newcastle on Monday, Davies knows how important it is that Forest approach the clash with the right attitude.[LNB]"We can talk about how Reading were tired at the end of the game if we've won," he told the club's website.[LNB]"But, until we've won the game and done the job, I would certainly advise everyone not to go down that route or even think about that.[LNB]"They will have been given a great lift by their performance at Anfield. What we have got to do is earn the right to pick up points this weekend and forget all about their result and performance against Liverpool.[LNB]"We've got to concentrate on the run we've been on, the quality of football we've been playing and the way we've got our results so far."[LNB]Reading defender Ryan Bertrand insists Brian McDermott's side will be fully focused on the Forest clash when they resume their league campaign.[LNB]The Royals are without a Championship victory in five games and are desperate for points to pull away from the relegation zone.[LNB]Bertrand, who scored the own goal that put Liverpool ahead on Wednesday, told the club's wesbite: "Obviously we'll remember winning at Anfield for a long time but it's important that we don't get too carried away and that we now push on and look forward to Forest.[LNB]"The boys were buzzing with the win and hopefully it will turn the season around."[LNB][LNB]
