Duo pushing to replace injured Tabb

Tabb left the field on a stretcher in the second half of the 2-1 win at Leicester on Wednesday and is beginning a lay-off after spraining his ankle.[LNB]His place in midfield alongside Brian Howard will go to either Brynjar Gunnarsson or Jem Karacan, who returned from a hand injury to be an unused substitute at the Walkers Stadium.[LNB]Captain Ivar Ingimarsson will also be missing as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury sustained at Middlesbrough last Saturday, so on-loan Blackburn man Zurab Khizanishvili will continue.[LNB]Ingimarsson has been booked in for surgery on Saturday and will not play again this season.[LNB]Kalifa Cisse (thigh) and long-term absentees Chris Armstrong and Noel Hunt (both knee) remain sidelined as Brian McDermott's in-form side look for a 10th win in 12 league games.[LNB][LNB]
