Doyle handed tough task

Reading forward Kevin Doyle admits he struggled to come to terms with his role as a lone striker in the Royals' 2-0 weekend defeat at Liverpool.
The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international had to forage for scraps at Anfield, after Reading boss Steve Coppell opted to try and shore up a side that had shipped 11 goals in three games.
Doyle told the Reading Chronicle: "We were away at Liverpool and it was what we had to do.
"We just have to do our best and if that means playing one up front, then so be it.
"You spend a lot of time chasing down defenders, putting in challenges and trying to win things.
"It's hard to run past people because there are always two or three opponents on you.
"But I knew what it was going to be like and if it's what the manager wants, I'm happy to do it."
