Doyle expects Royals stay

Reading striker Kevin Doyle is still unsure whether he will still be a Royals player when the transfer window slams shut at midnight on Monday.
The 24-year-old netted a superb hat-trick at the weekend as Reading beat Charlton Athletic 4-2, amid talk of renewed interest from both Aston Villa and Sunderland.
Doyle told The Sun: "Will I stay at Reading? I don't know.
"I presume so because there's not long to go until the transfer window closes. It's difficult to predict, but stranger things have happened, I suppose.
"I'll be glad when the window shuts because the whole thing is mentally tiring. You hear so many different things for three months.
"I don't know how close I came to leaving. You'll have to ask the club.
"They obviously felt the offers weren't right and I've got two years left on my contract, so there's not much I can do about it."
