The Republic of Ireland striker signed a contract extension back in November following doubts about his long-term future at the Madejski Stadium.[LNB]He had been linked with a move to Aston Villa after Reading's relegation from the Premier League and the club are battling for an immediate return to the top flight.[LNB]Failure to win promotion from the Championship could lead to further questions about Doyle's situation, but he hopes that will not be the case.[LNB]"I hope I won't have a decision to make, but I do want to be playing in the Premier League," said Doyle in the Daily Mirror. "I don't see any reason why we can't cope with the pressure that is going to go on now. We have been in this position a few years ago - and that sort of experience can be vital.[LNB]"Our players need to remember how we succeeded the last time."[LNB]Doyle is enjoying the Royals' push for promotion and is keen for Steve Coppell to be given money to spend if the club return to the Premier League.[LNB]He added: "It is enjoyable playing in a team that is mounting a promotion challenge. This is better than constantly looking over your shoulder and battling against relegation.[LNB]"In the Championship we go into every game believing we can win and that's why I'm enjoying this season.[LNB]"If we do go up I'm sure the chairman and the manager will have plans to strengthen the squad."[LNB][LNB] Coca Cola Ch'ship 2008/09 Win Outright: Reading 10/3[LNB]
