Complacency cost us - Howard

22 February 2010 12:41
Brian McDermott's men had won four games in a row before taking on Ian Holloway's side but were second best in a defeat which Howard admitted was thoroughly deserved.[LNB]Howard said: "Maybe we got a bit complacent thinking we could just turn up and win with the great form we've been in.[LNB]"We were second best and we're disappointed about it. But it was one game on a horrendous pitch with no atmosphere in the stadium. It wasn't what we are about.[LNB]"Hopefully it's just one bad day, there haven't been too many of those of late. We're sorry to the fans who travelled all that way and didn't see us perform as we wanted to.[LNB]"I don't think Blackpool were that great either and it was a horrible game that was put to bed by two bits of quality finishing. It could have easily been the other way, but we will look forward to two more big games this week and we can't be too down about it."[LNB][LNB]
