Church prays for Royals improvement

The Royals earned a replay at Anfield thanks to Church's strike but now face Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United and Barnsley in January as they try to climb away from the foot of the Championship table. He said: "We wanted a clean slate for the New Year and that is what we have got. "We played Liverpool and put in a good performance so it should give us confidence going into this month. "We have got to dig deep and try and get results."
