Church eyeing more starts

Striker Simon Church insists he will continue to play out of position if it means staying in Reading's starting line-up. The 21-year-old played on the left side of a three-pronged attack with Noel Hunt and Shane Long against Norwich on Saturday, and the Welsh international admits he enjoyed playing in a slightly different position to the one he is used to. He told the club's official website: "I've come off the bench a couple of times and scored some goals and on Saturday I got to play in a different position which I really enjoyed. "Playing out wide wasn't as bad as I thought it would be in terms of tracking all the way back. I just need to get in that hole and get on the ball a lot more when we go forward. "We all want to play - that's what we work for. I'll do anything to get on the pitch - it's my job and what I love doing. "And with all three of us playing it obviously gives us more attacking options."
