The 33-year-old arrives at Adams Park on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Reading, signing a two-year deal with Peter Taylor's newly-promoted League One outfit. Duberry has enjoyed a successful career to date, most notably at Chelsea where he won League Cup, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup honours back in 1998 having progressed through the club's ranks. He then signed for Leeds in 1999 and helped the Yorkshire outfit reach the semi-finals of the Champions League before signing a permanent deal with Stoke in 2005 following a successful three-month loan spell. A switch to Reading followed in January 2007, where he enjoyed two-and-a-half seasons, making a total of 30 appearances last term, before seeing his contract expire earlier this summer. And after pouncing on his services, Wycombe boss Taylor told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to sign Michael. I've known him for a long time and had him in the England Under-21's. He's got great leadership qualities and I wanted that within the squad."
