Reading have snapped up promising Australian midfielder Oliver Bozanic on a two-and-a-half year contract. The 18-year-old had most recently been playing for A-League side Central Coast Mariners, having initially had a trial with the Royals a couple of years ago. Director of football Nick Hammond told the club's official website: "We're very pleased to have signed Oliver. "He is a really gifted left-footed player, an Australian youth international and he's already spent a large amount of time with us in the last couple of years. "We've been trying hard to identify really talented young players, both on our doorstep and abroad, because there are good opportunities and value for money." Meanwhile, the Royals are still hoping to wrap up the signing of Cork City centre-half Alan Bennett in the next couple of days.
