Rogers only took control of the Royals earlier this month following Steve Coppell's resignation, but his methods are already receiving high praise from senior staff within the club. McDermott told the club's website: "Brendan is very organised and will leave no stone unturned as far as the opposition is concerned. "He will be good with the players and they will get on with him. He has brought in lots of experience with Dean Austin and Frank Lampard so there are a lot of good people here. "From the conversations he's already had with staff at the club, it is all very, very positive. It's shaping up to be a season to look forward to."
