Bertrand makes Royals loan switch
The Premier League club have given permission for the 19-year-old to play in Reading's pre-season friendly on Saturday with the paperwork to be completed next week.
Bertrand, who has spent the last season and a half on loan at Norwich, becomes manager Brendan Rodgers' first signing since he took over at the Madejski Stadium.
Rodgers said: "He's a big talent and the great thing is he wanted to come here. He wanted to meet up with myself, knowing how I work, but more importantly he wanted to meet up with the club. He was dying to come."
