Paco Jemez has agreed a new two-year contract to stay on as coach of Spanish top-flight side Rayo Vallecano until June 2015, the club announced on Thursday.
Jemez, 43, took charge of the club from the southern Madrid neighbourhood of Vallecas last summer having previously been at the helm of second-tier Cordoba.
With one game of this season remaining, Rayo lie in eighth place in La Liga, three points shy of the Europa League qualifying places.
They will qualify for Europe if they beat Athletic Bilbao and Betis lose at Levante on Saturday.
