Whittaker looking for Tangerine dream

Steven Whittaker has urged Rangers not to blow their chances of a title boost against Dundee United for a second time when they travel to Tannadice on Tuesday. The Scottish champions missed out on the chance to move top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League when they suffered a 3-2 defeat to United earlier this month. Rangers are now back at the summit thanks to a hard-fought 2-1 win over St Mirren on Saturday and have the chance to stretch their lead to four points on Tuesday, before rivals Celtic are next in SPL action. "It's a different type of game, Dundee United are doing well," said Saturday's match-winner Whittaker. "Our record is not bad up there but it's going to be a difficult game and we need to be up for that as well."
