We're out to make our mark - Foran

Inverness captain Richie Foran has warned Rangers he and his team-mates want to make a name for themselves as two long unbeaten records are put to the test at Ibrox on Saturday.

Rangers have not lost a domestic match at home since March 2009, when Inverness claimed a 1-0 victory that ultimately failed to keep them in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. But Irn-Bru First Division champions Inverness travel to Govan in confident mood having gone 11 months unbeaten on the road in league matches.

"We can't carry passengers at Ibrox. They are on a great run, they have won nine in a row but they are also playing some very good football," said Foran.

"But it's one we are very confident going to with our away record. We can't wait for it. This is where you make a name for yourselves and we've got players who want to make a name for themselves."

Foran played in his side's Ibrox victory almost 18 months ago when Ian Black netted a last-minute penalty.

"It was a really hard game but we did our jobs properly," the former Motherwell player said.

"We made it hard for them. They couldn't break us down. The lads at the back were immense and Ryan (Esson) made a few decent saves. We want to go there and make it ugly for them, make it hard and get in their faces.

"But they are the form team and if we don't get the attitude right they can put a few goals past us. But the gaffer will have us up for this and we'll be up for it. We're not going there to keep the score down - we want to score ourselves."
