Weiss keen for Rangers return

Vladimir Weiss is more eager than most Rangers players and fans for the club`s takeover saga to reach a successful conclusion as he awaits news on his future. The Manchester City winger saw his Rangers loan come to a premature end this month when he was ruled out of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League run-in with a broken foot after hitting five goals in 35 matches. Weiss fears Rangers will not be able to match City's asking price should they look to buy him, but that may possibly change if Craig Whyte finally succeeds with his buyout, and another loan deal could also be ironed out. Weiss told the Rangers News: "I would definitely love to come back here if it was the case that City were going to put me out on loan again rather than play me next season themselves. "I love it in Glasgow and Rangers would be the only club I would want to pick to spend another year with because I've learned a lot since I first came up. Playing here is a real honour and I am very proud to have been a part of the squad here in the last few months. "Of course, it is up to the club to take me back if the possibility for them to do that comes up in the summer. Obviously the situation with the club's future still being a bit unclear affects things and people have more important things to think about at the moment."
