Weir plays down Old Firm feuds
Rangers captain David Weir feels no need to remind any of his team-mates to keep calm during Sunday's Old Firm derby despite recent tension between the teams.Celtic captain Scott Brown and Rangers forward El-Hadji Diouf publicly traded insults for days after the previous fixture and Rangers manager Walter Smith has criticised some people at Celtic for allegedly claiming that they face bias. However, Weir does not believe Rangers have anything to fear from their players' behaviour ahead of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League tie.The 40-year-old said: "They (feuds) can get out of hand but I don't think we can be accused of that, so I don't think there is anything to discuss or anything new in regards to that."I think everyone has conducted themselves well."You always have a point to prove. If you're a professional footballer and you play for Rangers, I think you have a point to prove in every game, and that won't change."
