Weir keen to capitalise

Rangers received a title boost when Hamilton held Celtic to a draw on Wednesday night and captain David Weir hopes the result could also help his team. Rangers host Accies as they bid to stay right on the tail of leaders Celtic, who are five points ahead, before they begin clawing back their three games in hand. Weir believes the surprise draw for Hamilton, who remain bottom of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, should act as a reminder to his team-mates that they cannot take any result for granted. "In this league any team is capable of taking points off you," the Scotland defender told Blues News. "Celtic found that out the other night and we`ll be the same on Saturday. "We`ll have to approach it properly and play well or we`ll be the ones who are disappointed. It was a good lesson for us and it was noted. We have to take heed of it and it`s up to us to respond the right way on Saturday."
