Wallace set for Hearts deal

Hearts have vowed to offer Lee Wallace a new contract after rejecting a second offer from Rangers for the defender.[LNB] Rangers this week submitted a bid reported to be close to £1million for the Scotland left-back.[LNB]But Hearts are keen to hold on to the 23-year-old, who has one year left on his contract.[LNB]"Our view is that Lee Wallace is a very good player, a top player, and one of the top players in the country," director Sergejus Fedotovas told STV.[LNB]"He is very valuable. Our view is that his value is much higher than what Rangers value him at currently.[LNB]"We have had preliminary discussions some time ago over a new contract and we will be looking to speak to him over a new extended contract in the near future."[LNB]
