The Rangers cheerleaders will be performing as the dance troupe Blok this Sunday on Channel 5's new programme "Don't Stop Believing". It's a public vote so make sure to tune in and support the girls! Scotland's Premier all round dance troupe BLOK have been flying the flag for Scotland in Channel 5 new television programme "Don't Stop Believing". The show is presented by Emma Bunton and the star judges include Anastacia, Tamzin Outhwaite, former Blue star Duncan James and Emmy award winning Choreographer of High School Musical, Charles "Chucky" Klapow. The Glee tribute show has toured all over the UK, auditioning thousands of acts with only 30 places available on the live shows. BLOK'S first audition was through a video performance, which lead them to the next stage: competing in the Glasgow auditions. BLOK received a successful phone call which has placed them in the second week of the live shows. The girls are delighted they have made the semi finals and are now focused on training hard on choreography and singing, which they hope will impress the star judges and viewers at home. The Troupe is made up of professional dancers who also have a hidden talent for singing. The girls have come together with a group of singers, lead by Nikitta Angus, a former X Factor finalist. They hope this will give them the cutting edge to dazzle, as they are combining both singing and dancing talents. BLOK, who are the official Rangers FC Cheerleaders will be performing a show stopping routine with fantastic moves, stunts and diva voices! With the chance of a life time in near grasp, the girls hope to put on a performance like no other. However they need the viewers at home to pick up the phone and vote. The girls hope the strong Scottish support will help to take them through to the final. The troupe will appear on Channel 5, Sunday 25th July at 7pm.Manager Kay Lang, formed BLOK through her dance company Kay Klass Hip Hop and Street School of Dance. The motive behind BLOK was to engage young children in physical activity through the art of dance. The professional dancers regard themselves as positive role models for aspiring young dancers.
