Valencia ready to recall Niguez
The 20-year-old has been in Scotland since last August in an attempt to gain increased first-team experience, but he has made only one start while at Ibrox.
Cash-strapped Valencia are now ready to recall Niguez as they look to secure cover ahead of the potential summer exits of the likes of David Villa and David Silva.
The Primera Liga outfit's sporting director Fernando Gomez believes Niguez will have benefited from his time in Britain, but admits the youngster needed to play more games.
"Clearly the experience in the Scottish League will have been positive, although perhaps he needed more minutes in matches," Gomez told Spanish media.
