Where do you start and what criteria do you apply? Biggest, best, worst or most glamourous? Walter reckons he'd like to face Chelsea, Real Madrid and FC Twente on the basis of glamour and competitiveness. Plus presumably a chance to visit Amsterdam! In terms of what I've seen I'd go for Chelsea from Pot 1, Real Madrid from Pot 2 and Spartak Moscow from Pot 4. EASIEST GROUP Pot 1 not give you much of a choice - but if Seville get through their qualifier it would be them. If not then AC Milan. From Pot 2 I'd go with Marseille. And from Pot 4 it would have to be Turkey's Buraspor. BEST TRIPS Even this is open to debate. Most of us prefer not to return to the same city too quickly after the last visit. On that basis, despite the temptation of Milan, London and Barcelona, I'd opt for a trip to play Bayern Munich in Pot 1. From Pot 2 I don't think there's much competition to be had for Real MAdrid. Pot 4 has a fascinating array of possibilities - the wonders of the ancient city of Kazan on the shores of the Volga just as Europe turns into Asia. However, in terms of affordability then a trip to Sparta Prague is my choice.
