SPL rearrange Gers' Killie clash

The Scottish Premier League have brought forward Rangers' home game against Kilmarnock following the champions' Scottish Cup exit. Rangers will now host Killie on March 13 after their 1-0 defeat by Celtic ruled out a cup quarter-final trip to Inverness on the same day. The match had originally been scheduled for April 16, the weekend of the Scottish Cup semi-finals. Rangers have four outstanding SPL matches to be rearranged, against St Mirren, St Johnstone, Dundee United and Aberdeen, who are all still in the Scottish Cup. But with Saints facing Aberdeen in the last eight, at least one of those four clubs will now be free to face Rangers on April 16 or 17, the final weekend of fixtures before the league splits into two.
