Rangers manager Walter Smith remains confident that Jean-Claude Darcheville and Lee McCulloch will have recovered from injuries in time to play in the UEFA Cup clash with Werder Bremen on Thursday.
Darcheville is continuing to have treatment on an Achilles injury, while McCulloch suffered a thigh strain in the Gers' Scottish Cup win against Hibs.
Smith told the club's official website: "We hope that Jean-Claude will be available to us as we have two big games in quick succession and we have to be careful with players who are coming back from injury.
"Deciding which game we use him in and how ready he is will be factors, so we will just have to see with that one.
"Lee has a slight thigh strain which is also of concern, but we will see how he responds in the next couple of days."
