Smith's warning for Rangers duo
Smith believes the first-team pair have been badly advised by agents who are set on securing moves to England. The pair have 18 months left on their contracts but Rangers wanted to tie them down for longer. Smith said: "They're putting contracts before their careers. Both appear to see their future elsewhere. "There was a time when a youngster's only ambition might have been to sign for one of the Old Firm. "Now the young see England's Premier League as the one to play in. "They're not handling their own affairs and letting other people do that for them at a stage when they should still be gathering experience." Midfielder Fleck, 18, has made 28 appearances for Rangers after being hailed as one of the best prospects to emerge at Ibrox in years. Wilson, who is also 18, has made eight appearances this season and has impressed in central defence. Smith said: "If they weren't getting a chance with the first team I'd say 'fair enough'. "But they are getting an opportunity here. It appears it's not good enough for them."
