Rangers boss Walter Smith was ecstatic after seeing his side romp to a superb 3-0 Champions League victory away to French champions Lyon.
Goals from Lee McCulloch, Daniel Cousin and DaMarcus Beasley gave the Gers a famous victory and made it two wins out of two in Group E ahead of their double-header with Barcelona.
Smith beamed: "We have got off to a very good start. We have shown that we can compete at this level and that is important because we are a new team.
"I think it's probably our biggest European result in terms of the number of goals we scored away for home.
"I don't think we could have imagined for a minute coming away to a club as strong as Lyon and managing to win 3-0.
"I don't think anyone expected that, so I am delighted with what happened."
