Smith plays down title lead

Rangers manager Walter Smith played it cool after seeing his side win 2-0 at St Mirren to move ten points clear at the top of the SPL table.
While the Gers were emerging victorious at St Mirren Park, Celtic were being beaten 2-1 at home by Hibernian to slip further behind their deadly rivals.
However, Smith told the club's official website: "Celtic's result does us no harm, but we just have to concentrate on our team just now.
"I know it's a cliched statement but things have gone to and fro a bit between the Old Firm lately.
"We just have to focus on what we have to do and try to ensure we gain a level of consistency.
"We've been a bit up and down since the turn of the year in terms of our performances and we're looking to get a bit better overall. Hopefully we continue winning."
