Rangers manager Walter Smith revealed the injury sustained by Kyle Lafferty during the 1-0 defeat by AEK Athens "is not serious". The Ulsterman limped off after only half an hour with a groin strain to be replaced by John Fleck as Rangers went down in their final Sydney Festival of Football match. Smith told the club's official website: "Lafferty is not serious. "It's a groin strain and the pitch was probably to blame. We don't think he will missing for more than a couple of days."
