Smells like team spirit to Broadfoot

Kirk Broadfoot believes Rangers' Clydesdale Bank Premier League win over Aberdeen summed up the character in the squad this season. The Scottish champions headed into the clash at Ibrox with so many injury problems, manager Walter Smith was unable to name a full bench. With the likes of summer signings Nikica Jelavic and James Beattie out of action, and Sasa Papac, Maurice Edu and Kyle Lafferty all ruled out of the visit of the Dons, Rangers were still able to produce a convincing 2-0 win. "It says a lot about the character," said Broadfoot. "I don't think it's physical, it's more mental because it seems to be game after game after game. At a club like Rangers the demands are that you need to win every game. "But I think we've got big enough characters in the dressing room, big players and experienced players, who can get us through it. We are going through a lot of games just now but if we come through this with mostly wins I think we will be okay come the end of the season."
