Skipper Barry tips a Killie thriller

Rangers and Celtic have both been criticised for serving up one the dullest derbies in years after the clash at Parkhead ended in a disappointing goalless stalemate.[LNB]Ferguson knows supporters were disappointed Rangers did not grab the game by the scruff of the neck and make the most of the opportunity to move top of the SPL.[LNB]He pointed out a cautious approach has worked well in the past but insists Walter Smith's men will put on a better spectacle at Ibrox on Saturday.[LNB]"We've heard all week about the game," he said. "We know it wasn't a great game. I've played in plenty of great Old Firm games and that one wasn't a great spectacle.[LNB]"Hopefully tomorrow, we will see a better performance. We want to try to entertain.[LNB]"Last week, it would have been great if we had won 4-3 but it didn't turn out that way.[LNB]"There have been plenty of times this season when we have played good football.[LNB]"Last season, a lot of people were having a go at us for playing 4-5-1 but you saw the success that brought us - two trophies and the UEFA Cup final, as well as taking the league down to the last day.[LNB]"People will have their opinions on the way we play but we try to play the best we can and try to entertain the fans."[LNB]Ferguson knows he has also been singled out for criticism this season by those who feel he is not yet hitting the form he enjoyed before undergoing ankle surgery in the summer.[LNB]But the Ibrox captain, 31, has vowed to be back stronger than ever - and insists his critics only make him more determined.[LNB]He said: "I've had critics from day one since I came into the first team and I'm used to it now, it just goes over my head.[LNB]"The only way you can prove them wrong is playing well on a Saturday.[LNB]"I know my form hasn't been great since I came back but the only way I can put that right is training as hard as I can during the week and hopefully my form will come back.[LNB]"I use it as a positive. A lot of people would go and hide in a corner but I'm not like that. I know my form will come back and I will prove everyone wrong."[LNB]A win over Kilmarnock would allow Rangers to move into pole position in the title race - at least until Celtic face Motherwell 24 hours later.[LNB]Ferguson said: "Three years without a title is a long time so we are under pressure this year, we know that.[LNB]"From the start of pre-season, we knew what we had to do and that's win the league.[LNB]"It's close again. After the last Old Firm game, people said we had lost the league when it went to seven points but we never believed that.[LNB]"We are down to two points now and, if we win tomorrow, we go top of the league, so that's a big incentive for us.[LNB]"You set out from the word go at the start of the season to win the league.[LNB]"We haven't done that for the last three years and that's not good enough.[LNB]"It's nice winning the Scottish Cup and the League Cup and getting to the UEFA Cup final but the league title is number one for me and the rest of the guys in that dressing room."[LNB]And Ferguson believes Rangers are even better equipped to wrest the championship from Celtic's grasp this time around after falling at the final hurdle last year.[LNB]He said: "I think we have a good enough squad and a good enough team to challenge Celtic and win the league this year.[LNB]"I've never doubted that from day one. If you have that doubt in your mind, there is no point playing.[LNB]"I certainly believe it and I'm sure all my team-mates believe it as well."[LNB][LNB] Rangers v Kilmarnock.
