Scottish Cup fourth round draw

Rangers and Celtic were both handed intriguing draws away to lower-league opposition as SPL clubs entered the draw for the Scottish Cup fouth round on Tuesday.

Celtic, the holders, were paired with Peterhead, who currently lie second bottom of the third division -- the lowest tier of the Scottish Football League -- having won just once all season.

Meanwhile, SPL leaders Rangers face what appears to be a tougher tie after being handed a trip to face second division leaders Arbroath.

Arbroath player-manager Paul Sheerin played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle when they sent Celtic packing from the Cup at the first hurdle in 2000 in what remains one of the biggest shocks in the competition's recent history.

Elsewhere, last season's Junior Cup winners Auchinleck Talbot can look forward to the biggest game in their history after being drawn away to Hearts of the SPL.
