Rothen contract cancelled by PSG
Jerome Rothen is free to find a new club after reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to cancel his contract.[LNB] The 32-year-old had eight months left to run on his deal, but has not figured this season after two loan spells away from Paris, first with Rangers and then with Ankaragucu.[LNB]"The player is now free to engage with the club of his choice," said a statement on the PSG website.[LNB]"Paris St Germain thank Jerome for having defended the colours of the club for five seasons in which he has won the Coupe de France 2006 and the Coupe de la Ligue in 2008."[LNB]Rothen scored 13 goals in 180 appearances, but a public falling out with club directors two years ago signalled the beginning of the end of his PSG career.[LNB]
