Ricksen set for Gers exit

Rangers defender Fernando Ricksen is set to join Zenit St Petersburg on a year-long loan.
The Dutchman still needs to pass a medical and agree personal terms before joining the Russian club, but the formalities should be completed before the end of the week.
The move will see Ricksen reunited with former Rangers manager Dick Advocaat and will also give him the chance to resurrect his faltering career.
New Gers coach Paul Le Guen recently told the 30-year-old to look for another club after he was sent home from a pre-season training camp in South Africa for disciplinary reasons.
The incident effectively brought a disappointing end to Ricksen's successful six-year spell with Rangers.
He moved to Ibrox from AZ Alkmaar in a £3.6million deal in 2000 and went on to win two SPL, two Scottish Cup and three Scottish League Cup winner's medals.
