Mark Warburton looks to maintain Rangers' perfect start

Manager Mark Warburton will check on his returning internationals as he attempts to maintain Rangers' perfect start to the season against Queen of the South.

Warburton, who side enjoys a nine-point lead over second-placed Raith at the top of the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship table, will assess the readiness of Fraser Aird, Gedion Zelalem, Ryan Hardie and Nathan Oduwa to play following their return from duty with their respective countries.

However, goalkeeper Cammy Bell is still working his way back after a long-term knee problem.

Queen of the South hope to have strikers Dale Hilson and Iain Russell available after injury, but Andy Dowie will miss out with a hamstring injury, Mark Millar has a knee problem and Callum Tapping is not ready to return after a foot injury.

Manager James Fowler said: "It will be a big challenge to win at Rangers. However, it is one that we are looking forward to. They have pace and creativity all over the pitch, but we will look to get the three points.

"They are the best side in this league and they are undefeated. It would be terrific to become the first side to win against them."
